NCA is looking for a new Livelihood Manager in our Iraq program. The position will be based in Dohuk, North Iraq. We have been responding to the humanitarian crisis in Iraq since December 2014 by providing humanitarian WASH services to internally displaced people. From the beginning of 2016, NCA has also implemented a Gender Based Violence program with focus on Psychosocial Support Services to particularly Yezidi survivors, IDPs and host communities. Our overall goal is the implementation of labor-intensive activities with the direct involvement of the local population to offer a source of income to those whose economic activities have not fully recovered as well as supporting self-employment opportunities and existing local enterprises to recover their pre-conflict business levels.
NCA strives towards a local stabilization of the economic situation in Iraq. For further interventions, NCA conducted a market assessment on district level with micro-level information. As Livelihood Manager, you will be responsible for implementation of the project in accordance with NCA and donor requirements and standards. You will also build the capacity of the local livelihoods team as well as reporting to relevant stakeholders.
This position is to be filled as soon as possible until 30.04.2020 with the possibility of extension. Dohuk is a non-family duty station. Applicants may be contacted before the application deadline.
